Threat of hail in STL is real right now. Got the two not hail damaged cars just barely in the garage because I refuse to drive around in something that looks like a golf ball.

This would've been easier if my dad wasn't using half the garage for a wood shop but we barely made it work.

I used to do the same exact thing at my previous house.

Fun aside - my friend has a white Golf that got clobbered with hail a few weeks ago so now we call it the Golf Ball.

Definitely couldn’t do that in mine. Unless the second car was a 3-door Tercel cut in half.

I’m “that guy” backing my car out of the garage. I’ll take the insurance check with a smile on my face.

Ive been told that a super large comforter can help with moderate hail damage. If I drove across the country, I would carry one just in case.

I had $4K in hail damage repaired last summer, and I'm sure we will get hail again here this year. I don't know what I'm going to do. I think my car might fit on the front porch if angled properly but I probably ought to measure and try before a storm hits.

After a huge hail storm damaged nearly 2k vehicles in the inventory of a huge dealership outside of town, they sold all the vehicles that had cosmetic-only damage at ridiculous discounts in a giant “Hail Sale”. A teacher at my school bought a wangler unlimited from that sale, hardtop and all. It’s fully functional but looks like it went 9 rounds with an angry ex’s baseball bat.
